This is just a personal opinion: I noticed that lately the Companel is used for the announcement of events. I don't have any issue with the fact per se. But would it make sense to limit the size of these ads? The effect on my screen is that I don't see any more who's online (Yes, I can scroll down, but after a few seconds I get a refresh and then the lower part is gone again). If the announcement was limited to a few lines including a hyperlink, this would be nicer. I don't think it would restrict the visibility of the announcements.
