Felix is NOT in the attic as I have searched it thoroughly even with all the spooky goings on around me. I must find him! What has happened?

I slam the door to the attic stairs getting angrier by the minute. Deciding to find Mel, whom I suspect knows more about this than I care to know, I head toward the library since I hear so much ruckus coming from that part of the house.

Lo and behold, there she is. "Melpomene Saba! Mel, MEL!!" I try to yell over the mass hysteria in front of me. For a second I swear I see a zombie walking toward Edmund, but shake my head and grab Mel's arm pulling her around to face me.

After a bit of my anger is vented at the girl, she finally admits Felix is in the catacombs - of all places. She had sent me on a wild goose chase!

I turn to go find him, afraid of what I may see and of what I may learn once I do locate him.
Mel yells to me that I ought not go alone, and even though I am angry, it is comforting to have a companion as I head toward the basement.

What will I find? I don't think I will like it nor will I like what Mel's part is in all this mess.
