Obviously having your team members fit and healthy is required, but I am not so sure the choice to vote off those that are "weak" is a good one. I mean, it sounds logical, but I dont think brute strength is what is going to win even the more physical challenges.
My favorite season of Survivor was Pearl Islands, and this strength to smarts ratio was best seen there I think. The final two were both physically unthreatening woman. Agile body and brain seem to be the best skills required to win most challenges from what Ive seen.
In this season, these hulking (and not exceptionally bright) men they keep retaining and voting off the lighter (more intelligent seeming) women take up more resources, whine a whole lot more and for all that still do not seem to get the job done. I for one really dislike that football player in a game aspect (not personally of course, I'm sure he's a very nice man).. the man is a bad liar, something that shows he isn't using his head very well in the game!
I admit. I still love Steph. LOL She's incredible. But even there, I'd give my personal vote more for .. damn. What is her name? The nurse! She is truly amazing, a real caretaker even in that environment? And it honestly doesn't seem like she's only taking that position as a way to ensure her future in the game.
