    A little website about the history of the Scottish language.

    Although the idea for Mither Tongue was born towards the end of the old Millennium, the language itself has a long and distinguished history. Sharing a common ancestry with English and a vast amount of common vocabulary, over the centuries, it has developed quite separately, evolving its own distinctive grammatical features, syntax and vocabulary.....
