I appreciate the time Jeeves spent talking with me. It explains a lot about Colin – and the information helps me make a very hard decision.
I wander around the room. Colin’s jacket is thrown carelessly across a large overstuffed chair near the fire. The room has grown cold and I place the jacket around my shoulders – inhale that scent that is uniquely him.
I cross to the window and watch the storm front as it moves through. The rain begins to pour and the winds pick up – a reflection of my thoughts and feelings. I sit on Colin’s bed and wait for him to return.
