my favorites scenes were the one with Octavian eating the goat's testicle, yuck, lol, and the one with the Chief Augur bribed by JC and Marc Anthony, especially the funny remarks of the latter. And yes, this one was the best yet; even tho not much action, everything shown and talked about developed the story interestingly.

On "Little Owl"; I had completely forgotten about that, but when you, Heraklia, remarked about it, I remembered a French(?) cartoon I read as a kid, about young Octavian's adventures (in a bit like "Young Indiana Jones"-style), and in that there was always an owl somewhere around...
