From the map of the Kintyre peninsula, we could sail up the east side, between Kintyre and Arran, and on through the Sound of Bute and into Loch Fyne. Then continue up along the coast to the river that leads to Dunadd. There are settlements where we could stop for supplies, or just to have a chance to get out and stretch our legs and maybe hunt.
Where we could post, though, unless we continue at Cean Tir, I don't know. Nothing is named before Dunadd, and we can't very well post from the water - or can we? Or could we decide on names for the settlements and post from each one as we reach it? I've no idea how that is done, so it's up to those who do know. Anyway, that's my two sestercii.
