GRAIL QUEST

Only the noblest of hearts
Does love deign to enslave -
The chosen knight of Venus' arts
Is blessed, wise and brave.

Enlisted in the army of love,
Ensnared within those strands,
Be fierce as hawk, gentle as dove -
Obey as She commands.

Kneel at Her altar, soul laid bare,
Entrusting body and mind,
Chaste hands enfold penance and prayer,
Repent all ties that bind.

Upon Her word, a sacrifice!
Refusal is dark treason -
Upon Her whim, meet any price,
And question not the reason.

Know the pangs of hunger's core,
Thirst with fiercest fire,
Give up the promise nevermore,
Though temptations conspire.

The Cup that quenches every lip,
Elusive holy grail,
One flashing glimpse, one sacred sip,
One pure heart shall prevail.

One sacred vow, one grail quest,
A road that leads to bliss -
The noblest heart put to the test,
Rewarded with one kiss.
