I hung up the phone in the study of my room, the final plans in place! We would leave on Monday, flying from Cairo to the Ivory Coast. From there, we would board a large ship heading for Rio de Janeiro. I have rooms arranged at the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio where we will base our explorations from.

I am hoping that we can perhaps escape to other areas of South America as well. I heard that Chile was phenomenal this time of year.
