I found this sculpture about 21 years ago lodged into a rock on the side of a mountain in Los Angeles, Ca in the Lincoln Heights area not too far from Olvera Street which has a church that existed when LA was part of Mexico. The Statue is about 11 inches tall and 7 inches round. It is made of some sort of clay like adobe. It looks like a god of some sort. There is few southwest museums within a few miles of the site due to the large amount ancient artifacts found in the area. Thank you
Does anyone know what it is and what it symbolizes
