Not too long ago I read along as people began bickering, insulting, and hurting one another in a thread on this very same board. I felt pretty awful, and I wasn't even remotely invovled. And yet here it is yet again.

I apologize to Asenath, as it is apparent that the playful jesting which has been occuring here was not of her taste and she didn't care to lift her own fists for the fight. I had received a few licks, I perceived from others' reactions that this was no big deal, and I decided it would be all right to hand them right back to others. It was my mistake, and I will leave here for making that bad choice.

Additionally, I apologize for attempting to leap out of the loneliness in Hellas and join in the more communal atmosphere. I had been, as some of you know, excited about the possibility of meeting some new people, but now I see I'm best to mind my business, remain a wallflower, and otherwise not bother to be anything around here.

Sorry Seme. I'll be sure to remember the lesson I learned here, and Asenath, I will make every effort to stay entirely clear of your numerous haunts henceforth. I forgot that I haven't been here for very long and that I had no right to try and be someone around here.
