    Lovely selection of Pompeian grafitti!

    I would like to draw your attention, however, to the fact that, to my mind, "Sabina, felas, non belle faces" (V. Not.d. Scavi 1986(3)) ought to be read "Sabina, you ..., and that is not a good thing to do." The meaning of the message makes the Present Tense a much more logical choice than the Future Tense. At the same time, the confusion between e and i is by no means uncommon and synthetic expression of Future Tense is increasingly debile in Vulgar Latin. I would like to know if you agree with me on this points. Vale!
