what an odd and strange sight for the lowlands, where the temperature does not drop below 70 degrees fareinheit...? believe me... the only fires that we use are not for warmth so much as for cooking, for clearing the forrest vegetation from our "kolo'ob"... or to keep the "k'oxol" from biting so fiercly... "BaŽax ku yuchul waye dzulo'ob ich le Mayab?" (What are you doing here foreignors in the land of the turkey and deer?)
