I think Scathach's idea would be a very useful way to tie the guilds to the 'hoods. However I'll voice once again one of my main concerns here, that the 'hoods have to be more clearly visible and easy to find. That's one of the reasons of scarce participation, I think. These threads are not under everybody's eye like, say, the "Clans and tribes" which you can find as soon as you go to the main Celtia board.
The War School is a good example. Today, coincidentially, Dunscaith is a featured "place", but suppose it isn't. To find the War School I'd have to remember it is located in Dunscaith, which is in Pictland. It's not too much to remember, but given how large the site has become with the 'hoods, we have to remember lots of these little things. I know I have a million of AW bookmarks for places that are too complicated to reach otherwise.
I think I have already pestered everybody with my suggestion... Reduce or move to the side the "Featured Place" box, so that the "Regions" box is more visible, and add at least the cities to the Regions menu. I think it can be done, maybe reducing the font - after all, there's a tiny font on most of the rest of the site.
Off topic as usual... :D
