I found Athena scared, confused and crying. I stroked her hair gently and then kissed her on the forehead. Why do you cry, my sweet?" I asked with a look of concern, "Do you fear for your grandfather?" I paused for a moment as she looked at me with wide uncertain eyes, and then I pulled a drawing from my satchel and handed it to her, "I had an artist draw this of your grandfather walking my gardens. See how happy he is and at peace?"
Athena reached for the picture with shaking hands, when her eyes fell upon it I saw her eyes light up and a smile begin to form on her tender lips
In an instance I spun and hurled a dagger into the wall and turned on her with an evil smile, "You are happy your grandfather enjoyed such peace? He continues to do so, for now. You have become to complacent and comfortable with this ragtag lot you are a part of, your job is to get me information, not to become one of them. You either get me what I need or this is what will become of your precious grandfather!."
Athena was aghast at the severed head I held in my hand, and began to weep in desperation. "I'll do whatever you want." she said through gulps of tears.
I stroked her cheek softly and purred, "I knew you would."
