I love reading all these prophesies. Just had to put in my two cents.

The mark of the beast is not a date. It is a mark. It may not be an actual visual number that we can spot immediately, but it is a mark. It will be used to buy and sell, transactions cannot be done without it.

"He also forced everyone, small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on his right hand or on his forehead so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name. This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is man's number. His number is 666" (Rev. 13:16-18).

There is a group out there that believe the biochip implant system is the mark. These chips are being used more frequently all the time. They are currently used for identification, medical history, and cashless transactions. In Mexico, the government officials are being implanted for security access into the buildings. New uses for these chips are being found everyday.

I hope I didn't bore you. I just saw the message that pertained to this and it caught my interest. I used to work in the technology industry, and this discussion came up frequently, so I thought I'd share my knowledge (or lack thereof).
