Luisa Casati Aha is loosely based on the legendary Marchesa Luisa Casati (1881-1957) who according to her official website was perhaps the woman whose image was the most artistically portrayed, next to the Virgin Mary and Cleopatra. She was a muse to many artists, designers, poets ,writers and other creative people, among them Erté, Dali, Ezra Pound, Jean Cocteau and Jack Kerouac. Although the real Casati may never have traveled to Cairo, Luisa Casati Aha has just checked into the hotel with her two cheetahs, gilt-sprinkled servants, and several trunkloads of stuff...so let's see what happens!
