I have to thank you, Louisa for such great article. I'm fascinated by the Snake Goddess for years, since the first time I saw a photo of her, in my school history book when I was 13 years old. Minoan Civilisation is one of my favourites in all antiquity, maybe because of that curious goddess with that peculiar dress and those menacing snakes in her hands.
