I have to thank you, Louisa for such great article. I'm fascinated by the Snake Goddess for years, since the first time I saw a photo of her, in my school history book when I was 13 years old. Minoan Civilisation is one of my favourites in all antiquity, maybe because of that curious goddess with that peculiar dress and those menacing snakes in her hands. The all outfit is absolutely gorgeous. I had some images in my favourites from the Olympics Openning:

You can see the recreation of the minoan woman clothes, even if it's in an more artistical way but always interesting, at least for me.

As Jones sais, this statue "offers more questions, than answerds" and the mystery will continue around the Snake Goddess.
