Hello everyone, I admit I don't come here often sadly. I have an interest in this group's topics greatly but always seem to be pulled elsewhere. *sigh* Anyway, Aria has jumped on board to help scheme up one of our main events for our one day Orient springfest, and I wanted to seek last minute collaboration if possible (or if not, just future participants!)
The event concept is centered around the Great Wall, and is a creative writing event. Stories can be told from any viewpoint imaginable, farmers, peasants, wives, princesses, empresses, emperors, generals you name it. Right now we are trying to decide if it will be a judged/competitive event (I think it should, and am waiting to hear what ARia thinks shortly) and need judges and of course participants.
The great wall really encompasses alot of Chinese history, since it (they) were built over such an expanded period of time. So I'm really hoping to get all of you Chinese enthusiasts out to help us.
