    The early Greeks were as much mystic as theEgyptians, Babylonnians and others. Some enlightened greeks in the golden age did free themselves from this vision of the world, but it is chauvinistic to claim that early Greeks were not barbarians as for all others.
    In fact, while Babylonians were already living in societies based on the city, the Greeks ancesters were still paleolithic tribes, which is quite barbarian.

    It is not my intention to diminish the accomplishment of the Greek philosophers, but simply to see history in its proper perspective, in its bare and crude thruth.
