Quintus Cicero could hardly believe his eyes. His brother's son, his own nephew, happened to be in the Province.
"What in the gods' names are you doing here?" asked the uncle Cicero.
Looking slightly drunk Marcus junior replied, "Well, I guess, looking for Caesar. But you'll do nicely." Nephew and ujncle smiled and embraced.
"Well, then you are in luck. I am on my way to Caesar. Hence you havent found him, for he is in his Gaul, in Lugdunum." He started leading Marcus to his inn.
"Veni mecum, Marce." he said. "Come with me Marcus. We will travel to Gaul together. I will write your father and tell him I found you poring over a pile of scrolls." Quintus looked back at the pub he had found Marcus exiting. "Instead of pouring wine down your family's trademark big skull."
