It seems that a lack of understanding is a serious problem in the world. I believe a lot of issues arise from a lack of understanding. For instance, does strife among religions exist because some people have of a lack of understanding or knowlege about other religions? Can the same be said for terrorism or other issues affecting humankind?

This is not an attempt to be political; these were just some thoughts I had while reading posts today. Does anyone have any thoughts or comments?
