I am currently the illustrator for the Yotvata Excavation Project in southern Israel and a new member to this forum. The fort at Yotvata is a standard Roman castellum that was constructed on the Roman frontier to protect caravan traffic along the road from Arab marauders. I will soon have a website up and running that will contain photos and/or commentary of/from all of the different excavations I have done work for including excavations at Bethsaida, Qumran, and Yotvata.
