I know more or less where I want this to go; which is that Catilina's political rival Clodius and his coniving sister Clodia put their cousin, the vestal Claudia, up to daring Fabia to write the note; so that they could take him to court and (hopefully) not have to deal with him anymore. Fabia manages to uncover the plot and clear their names, while Catilina and Fabia's romance helps give Catilina the hope he needs to put his grief for his dead son behind him, etc. I just don't know how to get there. Suggestions of any sort that may jog my mind would be appreciated: anything from a scatching critique of what I have so far to your favorite ways of overcoming writer's block would help.
