The war council of Athens was sitting down a final time. The attendants were Marsius Cornelius Gallicus, Publius Fabius Scipio and Lucius Julius Caesar.
MCG: 'Publius, send out the orders that all 5 legions are to assemble in Thessaloniki. Lucius I need you to assemble the fleet and gather all ships in Thessaliniki harbor in one week. Also Publius we will need both cohorts of archers. The time for waiting is over. In one week time we will embark the X Doria, the IV Gemina, the II Sycthia and one of those auxiliary legions trained in Macedonia. Do we come up with a name for that one yet? Else lets just call it the I Macedonia and be done with it.
I will take ship this evening and make my way to Thessaloniki myself. My wife will stay in Athens.
Thats all men. Any questions?"
