with the ogham - is its a modern translation.
just as the bible which many read is a translation of a translation of a....
so even though the ogham may have a real postion in the celtic world we cant be sure where it fits.
there used to me magic in the written word, while most people couldnt read.
once reading/writting became the norm ( in the western world ) the new magic became science -the world explained.
Now are scientists are the new 'gods' and in the west the new magic is whatever new gadet the ones in white (hmm wherent druids supposted to be in white?) come up with next.
I feel magic is what you want it to be - I sometimes feel a sence of magic when I finish building something using electronic valves (tubes in the states i believe) as the heaters warm up and there is the magic hum as the grid gets to the correct voltage.
But this is only magic in my eyes.
I also see the magic in flight, the bumble bee and the fact I made it to work on time.
Magic doesnt need words,only feelings
