…as the herbs touch me, but it is all for show. While they do hurt some, it's nothing to what I am showing these mortals.
I laugh in my head. Weak spells, dried plants, and words. Do these fools seriously think they can defeat me with this? Had Manuan nothing better to send?
Just as I see the hope rising in the mortal's eyes, I decide to shatter that hope. In my writhing, I make sure that my face, with my hands covering it, move close to her head. Just as my cries are dying off, and I feel sympathy from her, I move my hands and say,
"Boo!"
I know she feels the fire of my face on her, and I think she is close to a collapse from fear. I casually backhand the warrior standing next to her away from me. I see her impact the shield, and slide down the inside of it.
I look at the herb-woman. "You want to be one with the Earth? Very well. That you shall be!"
Before she can move, I grab the top of her head, and shove downward. Her body begins to merge with the ground, and I push her in up to her waist. I then transform her into a sunflower. One with the Earth. And irony of ironies, the face of the flower is still her own.
But with no lungs to breathe with, she cannot scream.
I stand and survey these rapidly diminishing heroes. I stand my full size.
"Who's next?!" I roar.
