I was a member of the group here from it's inception, as along with Ningyo I had alot of interest in religion in Asia (a really fascinating topic in general in my opinion) but after I returned from being out ill I just never found the time to really post. My interest level remains however!

Anyway, as you all may or may not remember, I posted this in December shortly before resigning from the group (I had so many groups and felt like I needed to limit them to ones I could participate in) announcing Ningyo's resignation and a request for folks to please let any scribe now if they wish to take over the group (as we would help them, back them, help promote new group changes in acta, whatever).

Now I see that we do have at least two members, NanChan and Atmatara (of the lovely avatar that I have been green with envy over!) who regularly visit the group and make posts, also Lady Inari is currently in the Philippines on vacation but has always had an interest in the group. That is marvelous, but at the same time, no one has attempted to replace group leadership which is badly needed!

Sankira recently posted a request for group information dealing with a topic he was interested in, and Hui Li (also known as Asenath) replied suggesting this group. Turns out it wasn't what he was looking for, but the posting alerted Marduk to the subject matter, and he has a keen interest in religion in the Orient. For those that don't know Marduk, he is a very active patron recently returned from sabbatical, who created our first Orient focused group in Ancient Worlds (Light of the East) He gramme dme with this interest and expressed a willingness to act as new group leadership if you all would allow it.

He's created a new persona in The Orient (really, Orient groups like this should be run by Asian personas don't you think?) And has just told me he's already posted about it *L* (while I was writing this) Anyway, I want you all to know that the scribes of The Orient (Aria, Sank and I) are all really concerned with the state of our groups and are very interested in seeing them survive somehow! So with that said, I'm again joined the group and wish to publicly support Marduk's attempt to help this group get on it's feet by being a new group leader.

On the other hand, I personally want your approval of this change! Please state if you have a problem with this, and also, every single group should have at least 2 group leaders, preferably 3 to be honest. If you wish to become a group leader along with him or in general, please state so, the more leaders the more who can assure a groups activity and survival.
