If you decide to go ahead with the Stave Churches, I shall gladly offer my help. I have seen a couple of them with my own eyes (having been to Norway several times) and have a whole book dedicated to their history and art.

As to the historical period though, this should begin in the 11th century - is this possibly to late for the *ANCIENT* worlds? On the other hand, if one wants to discuss the impact of the Viking times on the art and architecture, it should not be a problem....
