I have a rather random question for anyone with knowledge of Roman inscriptions - what would VOT on a ring signify? There is no number attached, so I don't believe it is a vota, but could it refer to a tribe? I am hardly knowledgeable in this area and any suggestions are appreciated! (I believe the ring is about 2nd cent.) Thanks in advance for any imput!
