I would add another, The siege of
Tyre. The great mole which he built to connect the island city
with the mainland is still there and has grown into a wide causeway.
The achievement, of course does
not have to be that tangible. I think the thing he wanted to achieve
which he most successfully accomplished is fame. Here we are 2300
hundred years later and the whole world still seems to be talking
about him. Now there is an outstanding success.
