What has gone before…
This is what the Bard Brandubh knows and can remember of his own recollection:
Part the Third
The Lair of Agog was through the mists, and although locales not of this earth become very difficult to navigate. The soul of Brandubh was trapped there, while his body lingered in a trance at home. It would require the eldest daughter of Mananuan’s help in order to traverse the mists.
The band who would take the journey consisted of Eldrich, Bard of Leinster and Druid of Niall, Saoirse, Arwen, Siofra, Mai, the farmer Pol, the war-chief Feargus, and the young Druid journeyman, Jacas, each of them carrying a gift of Siobhan; as well as the soulless body of Brandubh.
Jacas was taken in the beginning, called away to the Summerlands as soon as he disappeared through the mists. The others fought their greatest fears, and used the gifts that Siobhan provided to survive the journey. Brandubh was restored, the soul of Dubhglas released, Agog defeated and locked away in his domain, and the party returned, each greater than they left.
Siofra and Pol found love as well, and were handfasted immediately upon returning home, with Moss in attendance, and Siofra’s father Suibhne finally arrived as well.
The party was ready to return to the Crannog victorious. Little did they know what they would be returning to.
