And a belated and very happy Christmas and New Year to all!
I've just caught up on the conversation and probably missed most of the pertinent points ;) - it's that time of day!
I have to agree with Catalina regarding the proposed tea house thread - we do have Jonathon's coffee shop for general chat and conversation and coffee shops were de riguer (sp?) at that time. Interestingly enough, Jonathon's was an actual and very popular if slightly seditious coffee shop with quite a history! I added a little about that in the Coffee shop header from memory...but that begs the issue...
What about the proposed chatroom naming? Why not make that something to do with tea? And if folk agree, I'd like to suggest that Rosalie sets it up if she wishes to do so?
The chatroom could be very useful - chat events arranged et al - a nice way to get together...over a cup of virtual tea! It does cost 1000 sesterces to set it up but at this point in time Jot's plans for giving groups the means to award monetary (sesterces) & graphical prizes for competitions is, I think, very much on the back burner ;) The 'hoods are clamouring for attention. So I don't think the cost is really an issue - if, suddenly, we have the opportunity to run competitions...? Well, I know of 1 or 20 personas just desperate for a dose of Georgian culture to swell the coffers...*looking elsewhere*... *lol*
Just off to reread the posts...
