Porcia shied away. Had her New York accent shone through? Mr. Howell had been fine-tuning her speech over the years, and it was times like these she wished she could speak so eloquently. She comforted herself with the thought that with that kind of money to throw around people could talk - but usually had nothing to talk about. She was just as smart as any of them, but she wasn't in a position often enough to be allowed to express her opinion on current affairs. Didn't matter, though, she almost enjoyed it; it was like her own secret she had all to herself.
That raised her spirits significantly. Adjusting the hem of her dress a little, the petite blonde decided she needed to have a little more fun before she met up with old Mr. Howell again. She set out promptly for the gardens.
