Happy Hogamanay! It is an old Scots tradition to visit their friends and neighbors in celebration of the New Year. They brought gifts and a blessings for the house and all its occupants.
This is known as "First Footing", and refers to the first person to cross your threshhold. In the spirit of this tradition, I leave you this Celtic mug, and very warm wish for the best blessings the new year can offer!
Don't forget to join the New Year Celebration at The Stag & the Hound!
