Greetings, Good fortune and blessings in the New Year for those who follow the Julian Calendar.

It's been a while since I sniffed round these parts and I see new names I don't recognize, don't see some names I thought I might. Flux. So I thought I'd re-introduce myself to a group who's never met me.

I've been a member of what ever Alexander group was kicking around A/W, The Vines and before. We've tried R/P (it always breaks down into stupidity), we've tried discussion groups (usually stalls from lack of interest), reading groups (usually turned into a Renault vs. insert name of your favorite Alexander Fantasy Author then stalls from lack of interest) and now this newer discussion group, count me in if you'll have me.

Still it's great to see a group dedicated to Alexander here on A/W and while it seems like we've sputtered and stalled with this group since it's foundation as the late R/P group "Olympia" (those of us who slogged through "Alexander the Absent" and "Alexander the Fought hard for the title then was Never Able to participate but couldn't bring himself to hand off the title")in the last century.

I'd dearly love to see it thrive in any form whether a roll playing group, a discussion group or just a general Alexander page. Perhaps this year ...

Anyway I always enjoyed coming back and seeing who, what's happening, kick start a thread or two and enjoy some fine writing. Mayhap 2005 will be THE YEAR we can get this thing moving with some force and have some fun too.

Anyway, the door is always open for family members and friends, new, old and yet unknown to drop by the Oikos and have a bit of refreshment and company.
