I'll be away tomorrow night but I'll try to take part in the Hogmanay celebrations as much as I can. As for the noise, no problem. At midnight. my friends and I will be firing our working reproductions of muzzle-loading muskets. Blanks, of course. I'm not sure it's entirely legal where we are, but hey, we have a regular license. Well, most of us have. Uhm.
