The Norse Myths (Pantheon Fairy Tale and Folklore Library)
by Kevin Crossley-Holland is simply what it says, the Norse Myths.
It starts with the creation myth and works all the way to Ragnarok. There are 32 stories in all and is a very enjoyable read.
There are also commentaries at the end of the book regarding each story.
I recommended it to a friend of mine who has been reading a lot of Tolkien (and understand this, he really likes Tolkien) and he liked this better.
This book is great for anyone interested in learning the basics about Viking Mythology, or anyone looking for some good fantasy short stories. Although I do not recommend it for children.
