Holidays and such --

Traveling? An hour to celebrate with my friends next Saturday.
Less travel time to celebrate with my family on the 24th and 25th, and it may well be one of those days is celebrated over here at my place.

Time off? After the 23rd, I am OFF for the rest of the year. This is a GOOD THING.

Traditions? Good Italian Christmas Eve with lots of seafood in any shape, form or whatever. Otherwise, not much. Personally, I feel more akin to Winter Solstice (next weekend) than to the other associated holidays. I put up a wreath, not artificial, and I consider my gifts carefully. Tried hanging "icicles" from my eaves one year, but they all fell.
