As is everyone who might feel at home at the Crannog!! And not all need be Nialls in my opinion. What say you, others?
There's been a bit of conversation going on in grams and scrolls that I'd like to see brought before the family to consider. Rather than voice all the issues myself, and since most of the conversation has taken place between Moss, Brandubh and the scribes of Celtia, I'll let them take the lead ...
Meanwhile, Manannan ... I'd love it if you'd share what you've learned of your namesake. My guess is, you'll make the decision, yourself, about what role you'd care to play. In some ways, this is one of the differences (for me) between RP & IW. My understanding of RP is that there is a fairly stern guideline of how the story will progress and you simply contribute to it. Whereas in IW, there's much more freedom for each of us to act as though we were actually IN the scene and reacting as would that character in that given situation. Much more like real life. I know it's what made the Crannog and it's offshoots so special for me. I really felt like I was a *part* of the action ... not just a contributing writer.
I'd love to hear from others what their experience is, and if I'm way off base.
