I suppose I was thinking more along the lines of the "kept" woman as Lilja mentioned. Her male counterpart would be? I mean, a man who is in love and dedicated to a married woman; ONE woman. I know we could call him a "kept" man. But is there any other word? And Louisa is right. Gigolo is not what I was looking for.
