As you all may know, archaeological digs undertaken by Turkish archaeologists in northern Cyprus are illegal. In 1974 Turkey invaded northern Cyprus and established a pseudostate. Since then, hundreds of sites have been destroyed and thousands of antiquities were illicetely traded.
