You can check it out at Yahoo! Games ... you have to have a Yahoo! ID and JAVA runtime installed on your system. Look for "Mahjong" (not the solitaire game) and "watch" a game ... it really goes FAST in the advanced players area, but they *do* have a social and learner's areas, too.
