    Julius Caesar: man, soldier, tyrant. By maj.gen. J.F.C. Fuller, a former British army tank general, who flirted with fascism in the 1930's. As a tank general, he focusses on Caesar abilities and faults as a general, and his not so democratic opninions are recognisable in his book as well.

    For those of you who can read Dutch: Caesar in Gallië ( Caesar in Gaul ) by Robert Nouwen. Nouwen exposes Caesar as a war criminal and mass murderer, who would readily exterminate whole peoples if this helped him ahead in Roman politics.
