Perth breathes heavily against me and dares to flick his tongue on my ear as he continues to threaten me, ”Not only will you two be the only and last Silures here, I will have also gotten to try out the chieftess before the absent chief has even gotten a decent sniff of you…and now he’ll only have your ashes to…” My eyes do not widen at the comment and he does not get to finish it before I have forcefully dug my hind claws into his chest with a surprise kick, tearing it wide open. I land on all fours gathering my strength for the second assault. I can hear Perth cursing as he flounders on his back in the realizations that he has just been injured. Not injured, but possibly in the danger zone for a wound done on a lycan.
”That was for Tynan,” I growl towards him. I begin to walk towards him. He acts like a turtle stuck on its back still in shock of the pure force from the situation. He gradually manages to get his feet back, but not soon nor quick enough. I advance on him rapidly taking out what steady footing he had. I hear hoof-beats behind me and my name being called, but it isn’t enough to take me away from the task at hand. Blood is what I am seeking now to pay for the damages of my kin and for the threats against me. I vehemently dig one of my claws further into the wound I had created earlier. Perth screams out with pain and lashes out with one his arms to leave a superficial scratch across my face.
”Lykaios, Stop,” screams Kirra, “He’s not worth it! Remember your promise! We can tie him to my horse! Do not kill him!" I snap out of my temporary madness withdrawing my hand from Perth’s chest. He slowly changes back into his human form. I stand there bare foot and bloodied.
