Welcome
The Flooding of the Black Sea
In 5600, the Mediterranean flooded into the Black Sea lake with so much force, it drove the many peoples around it far away. Some carried civilization to Sumeria and Egypt, others built the world's largest buildings along their path to modern-day Paris. Come face the starvation, theft and wars these people encountered.

It wouldnt let me 'add a comment' no matter what I did, so I'm posting it here instead. This comment is in reference to Apil's post in announcements area: NewsStory

Towards the bottom of it it mentions that this appears to support the fact that the result was 20 times that of the Niagra falls as opposed to 9 times as previously discussed in the book..

20 times??! I cannot even conceive of something that cataclysmic. Just out of curiosity, how 'large' or in comparison to this is say the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe? Just to help set the scene and let me imagine it better.
