Moore has a big and rabid following among the Southern Baptists who, I am certain, would have a theocracy if they could manage it and by force if that could be pulled off. It seems that funding for public education, such as it is in Alabama, is an amendment to their constitution which is up for re examination this year.


Moore's supporters think his removal from office to be a point in his favor.
