i have only faced them once, and they are uber. of course, i didnt have any cavalry in the city, which would have helped. my goal was to surround them with all my guys. i had 8 units of libyan spearmen, and one sacred band. they faced 4 units of armored, and one unit of spartan. those suckers just wouldnt die, man. i did manage to surround them, but it only seemed to help a bit. i am definitely going to try separating them in the future (after i try an elephant charge. i just love seeing them toss enemy soldiers in the air. thats gooood fun). in the end of the battle i was left with just over a hundred guys. i suppose thats better than the persians did, but i was kinda hoping for a better turnout.
