In early October, the Peabody will gather the finest scholars in Mesoamerican studies for a public program on the newest discoveries on the Maya, Aztec, Zapotec, and Inkas. From the discovery of the oldest Maya murals to deciphering glyphs to Aztec maps, the three-day program will explore Mesoamerica's history, archaeology and anthropology through lectures, workshops, and tours. Come learn how ancient civilizations communicated through their own, distinct artistic and literary traditions.
