    I don't know whether it's a curiosity or actually useful, since I haven't started reading it yet, but I've got from a friend the Manuel de la Langue Gothique by Fernand Mossé (1961). It must be really hard for non-English speaking people to learn Germanic languages. The poor French scholars have to remember that "manna" means "homme". But that's also the beauty of the languages.
